Nonmonogamous Relationships

If you have more than one sexual partner, or if either you or your partner are not monogamous, you are at risk for becoming infected with an STD. If you have more than one partner, make sure you tell all your partners you are sexually active with other people. If you do get an STD, tell all your partners so they can all be tested and abstain from unprotected sex until everyone has been tested and treated.

Remember, if you or your partner are having sex with other partners:

• Tell all your partners if you get an STD.
• Abstain from sex until everyone has been tested and the results are negative for STDs.
